Faces!
No paint or ink is used in caning these images. Each color change is a different clay. Faces are built about 6 to 7 inches in diameter, about 4 inches deep, and put together like a puzzle. When complete, they are compressed by hand, pulled out like taffy until reduced to 3/4ths of an inch by 10 feet. Slices are taken off and dressed with parts of flower canes!
